The digitized content of the John Milton Guy Medical Accounts consists of two account ledgers used by the Danville physician John Milton Guy (1860-1954) to keep records for his medical practice.

The two ledgers record the names of Guy’s patients, the nature of their treatments, and the fees he charged them.

The Illinois History and Lincoln Collections unit at the University of Illinois Library manages the physical items of the John Milton Guy Medical Accounts, 1898-1912 (MS 681). The collection was completely digitized in 2026. For more information, contact an archivist at ihlc@library.illinois.edu.
