University of Illinois Police Department Subject File (Born Digital Records and Digital Surrogates)

Collection contains born digital and digital surrogates of newspaper clippings, photographs, and research articles related to the University of Illinois Police Department. Collection notably contains photographs of: University of Illinois campus protests from the 1970’s and 1980’s; University police vehicles from 1959 to 2018; University police officers from the early 1900’s to present; University police managing community events in the early 2000’s; and University police preparation for Vice President Dan Quayle’s visit to Champaign in 1990.
