|Title||Meserve Lincoln Photograph No. 17|
|Caption||A photograph of the ambrotype believed to have been made by Preston Butler in Springfield in 1858. McClure's Magazine of March, 1896, stated it was copied from a carbon enlargement of the ambrotype of June, 1860, but the style of collar worn by Mr. Lincoln seems to place it in the earlier year.|
