Erasmus exhibit; While it is possible, even likely, that this item may have originally been bound in limp vellum as was the style at the time of publication, it is preferabable to use the structure of a limp vellum binding in a paper case since paper is far less reactive than vellum. This binding would be protective, but also non­adhesive and reversible if another preferred style was settled upon in the future.
