Description
One letter from British artist Alice Macallan Swan to Helen Allingham, apologizing for not being able to come visit. Swan writes she has been ill, but is getting better and the pain is going away. She expresses her regret for not being able to visit with Helen and Mrs. Whitey, because of the influenza. In a postscript, Swan writes that she knows Helen is busy so she should not bother writing back.
