One postcard from English author Richard Whiteing to Helen Allingham, shared that he was glad to see Gerald yesterday, and hopes to visit Helen soon to return the books she lent to him. Whiteing shares he has read "William Allingham: A Diary", and the Poems, and will be finishing the letters. He also writes he came across Helen's "Happy England," while on a visit to Northampton. The postcard is postmarked September 4, 1918.
