  • One letter from Henry Allingham to his mother Helen Allingham, informing Helen he will be traveling to Oakley, where he will be for a fortnight and have plenty of carpentry to do. Henry apologizes for the dates at the top of his letters, and explains his uncertainty because he has no calendar. Henry mentions a new bore, and includes a drawn diagram of a boring plant. Henry accompanies his diagram with labeled parts and explanations.
