Description
One letter from Henry Allingham to his mother Helen Allingham, writing to relay his experiences since his last letter. Henry describes working on a cattle drive near the Torren Creek, and speaks of working up to 20 hours a day. Henry also discusses the pump systems for water, which he explains Gerald will understand. Henry includes a small drawing alongside his explanation of the different types of pumps. He writes he will be spending some time in Oakley, but asks that she send the letters to Lammermoor as he will be back there by the time she receives this letter.
