One letter from Henry Allingham to his mother Helen Allingham, hoping that Ethel received her letter, as he had passed it onto Mr. Christison who took it to Lammermoor. Henry writes he is working with several other men on the new pump, and mentions the lack of food he had the previous week. Henry also mentions new fences being put up which he accompanies with a drawing. Henry writes he may be sent to Oakley by Mr. Christison for about a month to work the pump there.
