Description
One letter from Henry Allingham to his mother Helen Allingham, providing an update on the work Henry is doing on the pumps along the creek, and mentions a well called Allingham's well. Henry writes about a crime that Mr. Sherston reported, and the mosquitoes are becoming an issue. He tells his mother he had tasted his first vegetable in over 3 months. Henry writes he is not settled on staying yet, but believes that staying would be too lonely a life for him. He asks Helen not share this with the Christisons yet, as he is currently doing well.
