Description
One letter from Henry Allingham to his mother Helen Allingham, sending an update on his time since his previous letter. Henry writes about the bicycle breaking down and requiring new wheels, which he explains is very expensive. Henry describes working on several of the different pumps and wells around Torrens Creek, and mentions meeting an engineer from the Charters Towers engineering firms. He expresses the need to return to England before his Uncle Arthur's play ends, but writes Mr. Christison has said nothing about his return.
