  • One letter from Henry Allingham to his mother Helen Allingham, sharing he received her letter, along with Gerald's, Helen's postcard, and the program for Uncle Arthur's play. Henry shares he has been employed doing various tasks. He informs his mother Mr. Christison believes Henry should stay for "bush Christmas dinner," and then travel from Sydney via a White Star Steamer. In a postscript, Henry writes about having his first ginger ale and lemonade, and describes shooting a kangaroo.
