| Treatment Notes | Discovered that the five sheets of drawings are attached along the short edge (interior of the roll) by a row of stitches. Approval from Krista Gray via email 3/7/19 to cut the sewing from the back of the stack so the sheets can be separated, but leave the thread attached to the top sheet as evidence of how they were attached. This will allow for humidification of sheets with no iron gall ink, and for safer handling esp. during surface cleaning. Final measurements of flattened documents approx. 14x21. |
