She hopes that Mrs. Allingham is well, and that she might meet the child when she comes to town. She provides updates on her friends, Mrs. Paulet and Miss Newton. In a postscript, Jewsbury seeks to introduce them to a Greek friend of Mrs. Inwood Jones, named Gennarius, who has written several articles for The Athenaeum.
