One letter from English potter and novelist William De Morgan to H.W. Toole, thanking him for the photograph. De Morgan sends his love to Toole's mother and father, whom he notes will be reading the letter to Toole. He also mentions Toole's sister. In a postscript, De Morgan writes that he pities the "decipherer who finds this letter in the British Library 200 years hence!," and accompanies the note with a drawing of a man holding glasses trying to read a letter.
