Enlarged detail of a large photograph made by A. J. Whipple of Boston in Springfield at the same time as Number 23. Both of the younger sons are seen. The boy indistinctly seen on the sidewalk is Isaac R. Diller, a playmate of the Lincoln boys, who died in Springfield on September 28, 1943, in his eighty-ninth year.
