Description
A photograph by Alexander Hesler made in Springfield on June 3, 1860. Mr. Robert Todd Lincoln gave to the compiler small copies of this portrait and Number 28 which had not been enlarged and touched up, as were Numbers 25 and 26 of this series. The negative was said to have been lost in the Chicago fire of 1871.
