Description
  • Game consists of a track with 63 consecutively-numbered spaces, arranged in a spiral with the starting point at the outside. Players move according to the throws of one or two dice. Scattered throughout the track are several spaces on which a goose is depicted; landing on a goose allows the player to move again by the same number of spaces. There are also penalty spaces which force to player to move backward or lose one or more turns.
  • Children's game of "goose" printed on four sheets affixed to folding board.
  • Game board folds to 19 x 23 cm. when not in use.
  • Rules of play printed on game board.
  • Game likely published in 1850.
