Ferguson to William Allingham acknowledging the arrival of books and letter from Allingham, and inquires why he troubled himself to send them. She also expresses the pleasure in hearing from and about Allingham. She updates him on her personal life including updates about her husband. She also expresses her wishes that Allingham's nephews are doing well. She sends her and husband's regards to Allingham. The corresponding envelope is addressed to William Allingham at Ballyshannon and is postmarked Feb. 22nd 1862.
