Description
One letter from Irish author Mary C. Ferguson to William Allingham expressing disappointment they were not able to see him in Bundoran. She says that he missed the opportunity to see several friends, such as Dr. Petrie, Dr. Todd, and Dr. and Mrs. Stokes. She shares that they stopped in Ballyshannon to buy several of his books alongside Tennyson's new volume. She also discusses her husband's writing in the newspaper Oct. 1st. Also discussing the publishing of her husband's volume "Lays of the Western Gael." This letter has a second leaf, which is a different material than the other leaf.
