Description
One letter from British poet Coventry Patmore to William Allingham informing him that in a day or two he will receive a copy of a poem by "C.K. Dighton," which is the pseudonym Patmore would like to assume for the present. Patmore explains that this in light of the attacks he had sustained from the Times regarding his father's book. He writes that only a few members of the Pre-Raphaelite circle know. Patmore requests that Allingham do the notice in the "Critic." He writes that he hopes Allingham will find his changed poem much improved. The letter's paper is damaged and partially intelligible.
