Description
One letter from British poet Coventry Patmore to William Allingham returning Allingham's paper to him, and informing Allingham he did not mean anything against the publication the "Peoples Journal," and Miss Martineau's ability to write in it. Patmore in parentheticals, that he does like Miss Martineau very much, likely discussing the English social theorist Miss Harriet Martineau. Patmore expresses that he thinks politicals are noisy. He writes that his friends, whom are all of different parties, speak of the journal in the same way.
