Description
One letter from British poet Coventry Patmore to William Allingham informing Allingham that he does not believe Allingham's sketch will be received by the editor of Fraser's magazine. He explains it is because he has never seen such a small prose piece included in the magazine. Patmore mentions a reccomendation for Allingham, and advices he save it for a different article but it is unclear who the recommendation is from. Patmore also advises that Allingham write something longer, perhaps 8-10 pages, and states that Fraser's pays by the sheet. Patmore also addresses Allingham writing for the "People's Journal," and mentions them as having disreputable principles on religion and politcs.
