Description
One letter and accompanying envelope from English writer and critic William Michael Rossetti to William Allingham regarding a letter which he had enclosed, from John Durand the publisher of the American publication "The Crayon." The letter from Durand is regarding a commission by Allingham. Rossetti expresses his desire to help Allingham should anything come to mind. He writes that Allingham's previous letter remains unanswered as he does not have the time to respond. The corresponding envelope is addressed to Allingham in Ballyshannon, and is post-marked May 27-29th, 1858.
