Description
One letter from English writer and critic William Michael Rossetti to William Allingham thanking him for sending copies of his book "Nightingale Valley," to Rossetti and his sister, Christina, as well as copies for Hunt and Millais. Rossetti mentions that he has not done anything regarding the commentary for Browning's work "Sordello," which Browning himself had approved. Rossetti also offers comentary on Louis Napoleon and his control in France. Rossetti confirms that the "E. Burne Jones" seen in the "Athenaeum," was in fact Edward Burne Jones, their friend. Rossetti also mentions Ruskin. The letter's paper has sustained some damages, making portions of the letter inteligible. Rossetti also includes a post-script.
