Description
One letter from English writer and critic William Michael Rossetti to William Allingham responding to Allingham's previous letter and queries. Rossetti informs Allingham that should he desire Rossetti to pursue the enquiry with Mrs. Taylor, Allingham need only ask. Rossetti describes himself as "one of the pillars," of the Edinburgh Weekly Review, and mentions the editor Mr. J.W. Finlay. He also informs Allingham that he could have borrowed Rossetti's copy of "Leaves of Grass," by Whitman, and should not have purchased it himself. Rossetti mentions several other publishers who denied printing Rossetti's translation of Dante. Rossetti mentions that Allingham will be receiving a circular about the Seddon affairs.
