Rossetti expresses his delight in reading Allingham's new poems, and rediscovering old favorites. Rossetti mentions reading in the Athenaeum that Allingham's wife Helen is ill. Rossetti shares that he called on the Scotts, who explained Helen's condition further. He expresses his trust and belief that Helen will be well again, and sends his kindest regards.
