Description
One letter from English writer and critic William Michael Rossetti to William Allingham mentioning a note from Allingham, dated July 14th, regarding a picture by Boyce left at the Hogarth in Rossetti's care. Rossetti explains that he is willing to keep the picture till the next exhibition, and then come to an agreement with Boyce. Rossetti asks Allingham's thoughts on that arrangement. Rossetti also mentions the possibility of visiting Ballyshannon during his holiday, he plans to also visit Miller at Liverpool and Scott at Newcastle. Rossetti answers Allingham's query regarding the health of Dante Gabriel Rossetti's wie, to which he expresses his sorrow in relaying the message that she had been very ill but is hopefully now better. There is a note on the first page written in Allingham's hand, "Ansd Aug. 22, '60."
