One letter from British art critic and non-artist member of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, Frederic George Stephens to William Allingham regarding Allingham's "Nightingale Valley," and writes that he does not think Allingham included too much of his own work. Stephens wishes he would have seen Allingham in London. Stephens mentions his desire to write English Lyrical Poetry for Macmillan. Stephens also mentions Hunt's picture that is almost finished. He shares that Millais is now in London, and that D.G. Rossetti's pictures are the strongest in the club.
