| Description | One letter from British novelist Bertha Thomas to William Allingham thanking Allingham for forwarding to her a letter from English poet, Mr. Alfred Austin. Thomas writes that Austin must have assumed that "B.T." was a man, and will learn that is not the case. Thomas writes that the Pope is doing perfectly fine, and that the weather in Rome is terrible. She hopes that Allingham received the note she sent him from Rome, and expresses that there is much uncertainty regarding the Roman post. |
