One letter from British surgeon and polymath Sir Henry Thompson to William Allingham expressing his delight in having received a letter from Allingham. Thompson writes that Lady Thompson, and their family would be delighted to make Allingham's acquaintance, as well as himself. Thompson also mentions a misunderstanding regarding the Thompson's address. He also writes that his daughter had made Mrs. Allingham's acquaintance and was shown some of her work.
