One letter and accompanying envelope from British sculptor and poet Thomas Woolner to William Allingham informing Allingham that he departs the 15th of July, and encourages Allingham not to go out of his way to see Woolner before he leaves. Woolner writes that he will return to England to pursue his art. Woolner mentions Tennyson and Carlyle. Woolner thanks Allingham for the poem he sent and assures Allingham that he will not need them to keep Allingham in his mind. He also mentions that he will be seeing Hannay this evening, and will deliver Allingham's message.
