One letter and accompanying envelope from British sculptor and poet Thomas Woolner to William Allingham informing Allingham that he is no longer in London, but is staying with Sir Walter Trevelyan on his way to Edinburgh. Woolner also acknowledges his receipt of Allingham's previous letter. Woolner mentions shared acquaintances Robert Browning, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, William Michael Rossetti, Coventry Patmore, and Thomas Carlyle. The accompanying envelope is addressed to Allingham at Ballyshannon, and is post-marked September 12-15, 1856.
