Description | Caption on the back reads: "COLBY COLLEGE; MAYFLOWER HILL DRIVE; WATERVILLE, MAINE; Colby College, founded in 1818, began its new campus on the outskirts of the city in 1937, and occupied the first buildings in 1942. Colby is a co-educational, liberal arts college, offering the A. B. degree, with a student body of around 650. The curriculum affords a well-rounded education with opportunity to specialize in Business Administration, Teaching, and pre-professional courses in Medicine, Law or Social Service. With affiliated hospital facilities, a four year course in Medical Technology and a five-year collegiate course in Nursing are offered. |
