Newman also mentions another Hungarian politician, Lajos Kossuth, who arrived in England in 1851. Newman writes that he was cognizant of many political secrets, especially Pulszky's communications with the Turkish ministry. Newman explains that Pulszky wanted to leave one man in England who knew all their secrets. Newman details to Allingham, Pulszky's communication with Turkey and their government, and his other political involvements in Austria. Newman inquires which parts of this story Allingham would want for Fraser, and mentions that he would swear before a Parlimentary Committee on the subject. |
