Description
One letter from English scholar and philosopher Francis William Newman to William Allingham in response to a letter published in Fraser's by Mr. Newton Copland. Newton discusses how the Sun's heat is impacted by the Earth's amosphere. Newton was shocked to read that Mr. Newton Copland's belief there is a centriphigal force at work as the cause of the motions of the planets. Several portions of Newton's letter striked through and with other pencil notations.
