Description
One letter from English biologist and naturalist Richard Owen to William Allingham, sending Allingham a manuscript, which he hopes will be pleasing to Allingham and Longman. Own's manuscript is titled, "On Petroleum." Own sends two different addresses to send the proofs, one in Scotland which he will be at till the 20th, and another in Lancaster where he will be till September 2nd. Opposite the first page, Own makes a note asking Allingham for acknowledgement of safe reciept, and states he has a copy.
