One envelope from British poet Coventry Patmore to William Allingham. There is a note written on the seal flap of the envelope which reads, "Thanks for your invitation -- But my holidays this year are all expended. Better luck next time!" The envelope is post-marked January 25-27, 1854, and is addressed to Allingham at New Ross.
