Description
One letter from British poet Coventry Patmore to William Allingham apologizing for losing Allingham's previous letter, and for now responding. Patmore writes that Allingham may expect news of the Exhibition from a Londoner, but admits that he has been enjoying the lonliness of being far enough from town and acquaintances. Patmore shares that Mrs. Tennyson had a stillborn son, and hopes that soon the Tennysons will have several more children. Patmore also discusses Mr. John Ruskin's new book, which has angered architects, but Patmore writes is very good. Patmore hopes that Allingham's book will not prevent him from visiting London to see the Exihibition.
