The International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts was a world's fair held in Paris in 1925 to celebrate a new style of architecture, art, and design that would ultimately become known as art deco. The fairgrounds, straddling both banks of the Seine, are prominently shown on this map of the central portion of the city. It was issued by the Chicago Tribune to appeal to expatriates and tourists alike.
