Description | Brumback Library, the first county library in the United States, was dedicated at Van Wert, Ohio in 1901. In the foreground can be seen some of the peonies for which Van Wert is famous. Van Wert, "peony center of the world", holds what is believed to be the only peony festival in the nation during the first week of June each year. |
