D.A.R. This building is the Pennsylvania Log Library, located at Grant, Alabama. It is the library of the Kate Duncan Smith D.A.R. School. With the exception of attractive windows and the use of nails, the building was constructed exactly as similar structures a hundred years before. This is one of Alabama's last "old-fashioned house raising" efforts.
