Description
One letter from English writer and editor of Fraser magazine James Anthony Froude to William Allingham discussing the possibility of Allingham having seen a passage from Mr. Carlyle, presumably Mr. Thomas Carlyle, which Froude had marked to be omitted and it was. Froude shares that he does not think that Carlyle intended for it to be printed, and instructs Allingham to destroy it if he has it but to also forget it entirely.
