Description
One letter from British statesman George Howard, Earl of Carlisle, to William Allingham expressing his disappointment in Allingham being unable to come to stay at his home on Sunday, and informs Allingham that his other guests are departing today. He also shares that he hopes Allingham will come to visit on either Tuesday or Wednesday, and requests that Allingham write him a line, rather than sending a telegraph to inform him which train he will arrive on so that Howard may send a cart to pick Allingham up from the station.
