One letter from English painter William Holman Hunt to William Allingham responding to a letter sent by Allingham, and apologizing for the late response. Hunt explains that the letter was delivered by D.G. Rossetti and Walter Deverell, the latter of whom took the letter home with him and then lost it. Hunt also shares his current artistic subject as, "Two Gentleman of Verona," which comes from Shakespeare. He also writes his thoughts on Allingham's poetry.
