Description
One letter from Bessie Parkes Belloc to Helen Allingham, thanking Helen for rembering her. Belloc mentions Walmer Castle, which she saw 25 years ago, and mentions the Duke of Wellington who announced every letter of return to port which came to Walmer. Belloc updates Helen on her children, informing her that her son, Hilary, has returned to school in Edinburgh and her daughter, Mary, is with her. Belloc writes that sometime soon when it is warmer, she should like to to return to London via Witley to visit Helen's home. The letter's paper contains a watermark for Treasury De La Rue.
