One letter from British artist John Brett to Helen Allingham acknowledging the death of Helen's husband, William Allingham. Brett writes that he was disappointed his path so rarely crossed with Allingham's. Brett also writes that Allingham was fortunate in finding Helen, and that it is happy Helen has her children with her. Brett sends his and his wife's blessings to Helen and her children. The letter's paper contains a watermark for The Westminster Note.
