Laurence also mentions not knowing art dealer Dominic Charles Colnaghi or painter Thomas Groves, but should reach out to them and will let Allingham know regarding this meeting. He expresses his sadness in missing Allingham and Carlyle calling on him, and hopes Allingham will try again soon. He also discusses doing a painting based on a photograph taken of Carlyle. |
