One letter from English physician William Benjamin Carpenter to Helen Allingham, writing to inform her that his late aunt, Miss Carpenter left her small sum of money in her will. Carpenter explains that he has enclosed a reciept for her to sign and he will forward Helen a cheque. Carpenter sends his regards to Helen and her husband, William Allingham. The letter's paper contains a watermark for A. Pirie & Sons, 1877.
