Description
One letter from English actor and theatre manager Sir Charles Hawtrey to Helen Allingham regarding a letter he received from his cousin to reserve seats for her tomorrow evening. Hawtrey informs Helen that the best seats are located in the centre of the fourth row in the upper circle, no. 108 to 113. Hawtrey writes that the tickets will be held for Helen until 8:15 tomorrow night, or will be sold. The total price of the tickets is 18 pounds. The letter is written on stationary for the Royal Globe Theatre, indicating Mr. Charles H. Hawtrey as the lessee and manager. This theatre no longer stands.
